Furnaces For Vacuum Brazing

Furnaces For Vacuum Brazing

Vacuum brazing is a brazing method, which takes place in a chamber or retort – otherwise known as a vacuum furnace – at pressures below atmospheric pressure. The vacuum brazing in the vacuum atmosphere provides extremely clean, superior and flux-free solder joints of high integrity and strength.

Technical Parameters

  • Available in horizontal and vertical load options
  • Usable dimensions in the hot zone up to 1000x1500x1000 mmm (WXLXH) for the horizontal type
  • Ø 1500 x 1500 mm (diameter x H) for the vertical type
  • graphite or metal-insulated hot zone
  • Max. loadable up to 2500 kg
  • temperature uniformity better than ± 5°C
  • Fully automatic control for various heat treatment recipes
  • High temperature homogeneity
  • Even cooling
  • Variable cooling speed and direction of the cooling gas
  • Short cycle times
  • Effective convection at low temperatures
  • vacuum pressures of 10-2 – 10-5 mbar
  • Effective and uniform high-pressure gas quenching
  • The operating temperature in the soldering chamber is approximately 1200°C
