Extruded Aluminium Profiles

Extrusion is a forming method for the manufacture of rods, wires, pipes and irregularly shaped prismatic profiles. For extrusion are suitable in principle all metals, but it is applied especially for aluminum and aluminum alloys. In order to obtain the desired shape of the profile, one needs a tool („die“).

Aluminium is a very modern material, because it is light and easily recyclable. In addition, aluminum has a very high thermal conductivity (heat sink profiles for LED) and is a very good conductor of electricity (busbars).
